Queen City Rams host Denver Harlequins RFC - Saturday 19th Oct 2019 - Infinity Turf Field - 10am Kick Off
After a successful game against the Marauders RFC, Queen City have been working hard off the field in readiness for this Saturdays fixture against Denver Harlequins RFC. This game will be far tougher for the 'Rams' and getting ready for the clash the team trained with the World Rugby North American Rugby Academy, playing at Glendale on Monday evening. Both teams were able to work on their set plays and backline moves before playing a scrimmage game against each other. Speaking afterwards Andrew Clark Head of pathways at Brumbies Rugby, said "It was great for us to work with Queen City, they have some talented lads and the scrimmage was evenly contested. I can see why Queen City RFC were the Frontier Champions last season and with Ken Stone at the helm the club will continue to grow having success on and off the field".
With the extra session on Monday and with the 44 players competing for spots on Tuesday and Thursdays practice, selection will be difficult as so many players are capable, however its fair to say its a welcomed headache for Director of Rugby Ken Stone. For those who miss out in the Championship game they will all get a chance to impress in the clubs Divison Four fixture against Boulder at Jacobs Park at 1230pm kick off.
