Saturday 23rd Oct saw the two best teams in Rocky Mountain Championship take each other on for the 1st & 2nd place in the league. With their previous games being played this fixture was all about seeding for the RMR Finals that will be played on Sat 13th November 2021.

Both teams were keen to play against each other and prove some points all the way - bragging rights so to speak, and there were a lot of things to talk about. Yellow cards, high tackles, missed tackles, some fantastic tries and unfortunately some decisions by the Sirs that moved the result from the deserved winners into the Springs hands.

The Final score was 24-29 - to the Springs - Queen City will be playing again for the chance to play in the National Championships and represent Colorado in the Frontier Championships after they play this anticipated rematch.

Ken Stone, Director of Rugby said "We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our players, staff and supporters who came out to the games and cheered the lads on. Having a couple of hundred on the sidelines always adds to the spice. Having so many Olde Boys come out to support was a extra touch. They would of been entertained with the encounter & encouraged by the talent and display that the Queen City Rams displayed that day. Having some starters missing from the fixture due to other commitments the future is bright & we look forward to the 13th November to make right what was wronged".
