Ty Johnson scored the first try at the 8th minute of the match on a long breakaway after some very good ball handling by the backs. Try went unconverted. The second try was scored by Hayden Kinnear at the 20th minute again on a long breakaway after some heavy defensive pressure causing the Harlequins to turn over the ball. Matt Berry added the extra 2 pt. conversion. The last score came at the 51st minute by a break up the middle by outside center Zach Kent after some heavy offensive pressure by the QCRFC forwards. Charlie Keener provided the final 2 points on the day. The “Man of the Match” went to Eric Gustafson with honorable mention to the Queen City forwards for their outstanding work throughout the match in set pieces, winning ball and disrupting the opposition, as well as their outstanding rucking all game long. The defensive pressure by all the players was exceptional which kept the Harlequins at bay throughout the match and away from the try zone. All 8 substitutions found themselves in the match so it was a total team effort and win.
